Escape - cast bronze 5" diameter

This image developed from my claustrophobia. I had observed several women wearing burkas and imagined them to be tubes trapping them. My impulse was to claw my way out of the enclosure. Escape became the image seen here.

I-Eye - cast bronze 5" diameter

A vist to my opthomologist where he photograped the interior of my eye with the optic nerves displayed. They were bundled with a yellow glow in the center. I drew an eye in that cemtral glow. On the Reverse I placed my self portrait with eyes closed therefore the title, 'I-Eye' or the Inner-Eye of the artist.

Millennium

The obverse contains the images of the three major cultures influencing our world. The reverse contains the symbols of progress and conflict through the ages.

Icarus

The concept for Icarus derives from my interest in astronomy, space exploration and it's beginnings in mythology.
