Above is a photo of M 13 a globular cluster in the constellation Hercules. Recently taken using an Olympus OM-1 camera and eyepiece projection with an 8" Celestron telescope. The exposure was 10 minutes on ASA 800 film.

For my Astronomy friends, I am putting in a scan of a Newspaper photo of me in my observatory. The roof is rolled back revealing me standing next to my 4 1/4 inch refractor, my 13.1 inch Dobsonian reflector is behind me. I have a clock drive on the refractor and the reflector is equiped with digital setting circles. Here's me in the Observatory
Hale-Bopp is here and I've taken some photos. Here are some scans. They are fairly low-res so they won't take a lot of time to download. Both images were taken with time exposures and Kodak ASA 1000 film. These pictures were taken in the first photo, at twilight and in photo #2 at dark, in Livingston Manor, Sullivan County, New York.
(1)Here's a 135mm telephoto lens view. I cut off part of the picture that had a line of blinking strobe lights from a passing airplane. Too many people were making jokes about a UFO.
(2) An f15 1500mm focal lengh telescope view of Hale-Bopp at 25x magnification
