Escape, Obverse - Cast Bronze, 125mm

The image developed from my concept of escaping from confinement and moving out of bondage. The circle, also a generic form for medals is broken by the forms, additionally adding to the statement of growth and change. The patina was used to darken the recesses and polish the high areas to indicate movement from the dark into the light.
